[Safe Games, Illinois? Its called parental responsibility.]

Governor Rod Blagojevich, who still can't budget more than one Illinois State Police officer to patrol the Edens Expressway (in both directions) from the reckless and excessively high-speed drivers now wants to prohibit the distribution, sale, rental and availability of mature video games to children younger than 18. Under Governor Blagojevich's plan (Safe Games Illinois), the proposed fine for retailers violating the bans would be a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in prison or a $5,000 fine.

So much for parental responsibility... below are all the mature video games listed on SafeGamesIllinois.org for sale on Amazon.com

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) helps parents and other consumers choose the games that are right for their families. ESRB ratings have two parts: rating symbols that suggest what age group the game is best for, and content descriptors that indicate elements in a game that may have triggered a particular rating and/or may be of interest or concern. Click here to see definitions of the rating symbols & content descriptors currently used by ESRB.
